Kinkally, a new Michelin rated Georgian restaurant in London, has recently added the BioMarani Saperavi to its wine list. This big, bold Saperavi is a perfect complement to the traditional Georgian cuisine with a modern twist offered at Kinkally, adding to the authentic dining experience for its patrons.
Kinkally takes its name from the traditional Georgian dumpling with a unique twisted dough top, the Khinkali. These large, delicious dough dumplings are a staple Georgian dish and are made with either meat, fish or vegetables and spices. You will find an amazingly delicious selection of these Khinkali on the menu with culinary influences from Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Other Georgian fare on the current menu include: Nazuki, a shiny, sweet bread (traditionally made with raisin and cinnamon); Tkemali, an aromatic sweet-sour plum sauce; Pkhali which traditionally is any cooked vegetable that has been chopped with walnuts, garlic, spices and herbs; Kindzmari, fish cooked with coriander and wine vinegar and Chkmeruli, a fried chicken with garlic and herbs cooked over a low heat.
Bar Kinky is the subterranean cocktail bar downstairs, with a selection of signature cocktails with a twist and vibrant tunes playing.
